I found several large sketchbooks with some figure drawings in them. One sketchbook was newsprint, which means the paper is already starting to go brown. (Newsprint is not acid-free.) The other sketchooks fared better. I will gradually digitize them and put them online, because . . . well, that’s what art blogs are for, right? 😉 I’ve also got some more weekly figure drawing sessions to catch up on. I’m continuing to attend the sessions at the Got ART gallery, which I’m enjoying a lot. The three-hour sessions and the opportunity to have longer poses is wonderful.
A 20-minute pose from a figure drawing session in late October ’11, held at Got ART gallery. Mechanical pencil drawing, done in my sketchbook.
Charcoal on toned charcoal paper. This was from a life drawing class I took some years ago at Glendale Community College.
Ah, the fashionable leisure suit pose. Charcoal on toned paper. Also from a session at Glendale College (also known as GCC).
A quick 5-minute pose done at a session at Got ART. Drawn with mechanical pencil, in my sketchbook.
