More figure drawings, old and new. I’ll get right to them!
(Click on the image to see the full-length sketch.) Done at a life drawing session at Glendale Community College (GCC), some years ago. Toned paper and pastel (or maybe colored Conté crayon, I can’t be sure.) I like how these turned out; I’ll have to do more like them!
I found several large sketchbooks with some figure drawings in them. One sketchbook was newsprint, which means the paper is already starting to go brown. (Newsprint is not acid-free.) The other sketchooks fared better. I will gradually digitize them and put them online, because . . . well, that’s what art blogs are for, right? 😉 I’ve also got some more weekly figure drawing sessions to catch up on. I’m continuing to attend the sessions at the Got ART gallery, which I’m enjoying a lot. The three-hour sessions and the opportunity to have longer poses is wonderful.
